By appointing a qualified and experienced Chartered Surveyor who is also a registered residential property Valuer, you are more likely to obtain and accurate and reliable valuation which, depending on the specific purpose, will be most credible when dealing with third parties. We can act both for individual clients and on a jointly appointed basis if required.Some of the general valuation services we offer include the valuation of loft / roof spaces and side returns, the valuation of garden land, Charities Act valuations, French Wealth Tax valuations, Staircasing valuations and valuations for when one party wishes to buy out another (where the property is jointly owned). Will also carry out Building’s Insurance Reinstatement Cost valuations.
Why get a General Valuation?
Disputes or potential disputes often occur over the value of a property. Depending on which side of the fence you are on, your view of value is naturally biased towards your own position. When such positions become entrenched it can be almost impossible to move a situation forward. By instructing a Chartered Valuation Surveyor (sometimes on a joint basis) to provide an opinion, matters can often be resolved.
