I am buying a house. What would be the best survey?

RICS guidance states that a regular terraced house, possibly with some alterations or extensions is suitable for a Homebuyer Report, but we often find that, because of the increased capital value involved, clients tend to prefer the more detailed Building Survey, which is particularly suited to houses of some age as well as those that have been extensively altered and extended.  Very often clients want a higher level of information when they purchase a house and the Building Survey meets this requirement.  In respect of all surveys we produce we are always happy to discuss issues raised in the report over the telephone as required.
